Hail to the Deadskins has a great post here about our QB coach Wade Wilson and his punishment for taking HGH. The question we don't know is if Wade was actually taking these pills or giving them to Bears players. Taking a look at Wade, he's bulked up since retiring as a QB in 1998. I tend to think he was popping those suckers. But, he's a coach, not a player. And, he claims he used them for diabetes, to improve his quality of life.
Fine. But NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell slapped Wilson with a five-game suspension and a $100,000 fine. Ouch!
I tend to agree more with what Hail to the Deadskins said. Is Goodell trying to be a little too harsh in his quest to clean up the league. Heck, he should concentrate more on the Cincinnati Bengals; that team is full of hoodlums.
Leave Wade alone!
